Smith & Nephew Melolin Low adherent Absorbent Dressing

• A low-adherent absorbent dressing used for the management of a wide variety of light to moderately exuding wounds including clean sutured wounds, abrasions, lacerations and minor burns.
• Melolin™ is a low adherent, absorbent wound dressing, composed of three layers: 

1. A polyester wound contact layer; 
2. A central cotton / viscose high absorbent layer; and
3. An outer hydrophobic non-woven layer.

• These individual components are bonded together by a manufacturing process combining heat and compression, to form a single low adherent dressing
